• Determine and recommend suitable corrective lenses or treatment options
• Address eye infections, injuries, and long-term conditions as they arise
• Bring in other specialists where a case calls for joint management
• Keep each patient’s record and follow-up history properly documented
• Help patients understand their eye health through counseling and guidance
