Consultant Radiologist

A growing multi-specialty hospital in Sribhumi, Assam is seeking a Consultant Radiologist for its imaging services. The role focuses on diagnostic interpretation, reporting, and clinical coordination, with the selected specialist expected to manage the radiology function with a high degree of independence.

Imaging Services & Hospital Infrastructure

The facility has a broad clinical network comprising Medicine, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Paediatrics, Radiology, General Surgery and OT, ICU and Critical Care, Emergency, Laboratory and Pathology, X-ray and Imaging, Pharmacy, and OPD and IPD services. The radiology function forms an important part of this multidisciplinary environment, supporting physicians and surgeons with diagnostic imaging for routine and urgent cases.

Diagnostic Imaging Responsibilities

• Interpret available radiological examinations and prepare clear diagnostic reports.
• Assess imaging findings in conjunction with relevant clinical information.
• Provide timely reporting for routine and priority investigations.
• Discuss significant findings with treating physicians whenever necessary.
• Maintain appropriate standards of reporting, documentation, and patient safety.
