A well-established hospital in Sribhumi, Assam is seeking a Consultant Physician to join its clinical team. The position involves assessing varied medical presentations, overseeing patient treatment, and coordinating care with specialists across the hospital’s different services.

The hospital brings together Medicine, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Paediatrics, Radiology, General Surgery and OT, ICU and Critical Care, Emergency, Laboratory and Pathology, X-ray and Imaging, Pharmacy, as well as OPD and IPD services. This broad clinical network allows physicians to manage patients with access to multiple diagnostic, surgical, and supportive departments.

Scope of Medical Practice

• Assess patients and establish appropriate diagnoses across a range of medical presentations.
• Oversee treatment plans for patients attending consultations or requiring admission.
• Evaluate laboratory and imaging findings when making clinical decisions.
• Respond to urgent medical presentations and provide appropriate initial management.
• Coordinate referrals and treatment with consultants from other departments.
