A Consultant Neurosurgeon is required for an established surgical department at a multi-specialty hospital, with responsibility for managing neurosurgical cases independently. The position includes scheduled clinical hours along with emergency coverage and is open to qualified candidates, including freshers with the required clinical competence.

Surgical Department Profile

The hospital is a 50-bed multi-specialty facility with active departments in Neurosurgery, Orthopedics, General Surgery, Gynecology, General Medicine, Nephrology, Cardiology, and Maxillofacial Surgery. It is empanelled with multiple TPAs, providing a broad patient base and multidisciplinary support for the neurosurgical department.

Neurosurgical Practice

• Diagnose and surgically treat disorders of the brain, spine, and nervous system
• Perform procedures including tumor excision, spinal surgeries, and trauma care
• Provide post-operative and rehabilitative care to neurosurgical patients
• Collaborate with neurologists, radiologists, and ICU teams for integrated care
• Participate in emergency neurosurgical interventions and trauma management
