Consultant Cardiologist

An interventional cardiology opportunity is available in Kurukshetra, Haryana for a Consultant Cardiologist who can independently perform cardiac interventions. The position is part of a running cardiology service and is suited to a DM-qualified specialist with hands-on experience in interventional procedures and cath lab practice.

Its empanelments with various TPAs support organized healthcare services across specialties. The running cardiology department provides an established clinical setting for a Consultant Cardiologist with hands-on experience and responsibility for interventional cardiac procedures.

Interventional Cardiology Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage patients with cardiovascular diseases, including patients requiring interventional cardiac care.
• Independently perform relevant interventional cardiac procedures according to clinical experience and hospital requirements.
• Undertake cardiac diagnostic investigations, including ECG and echocardiography, as clinically appropriate.
• Coordinate with surgeons, ICU teams, and multidisciplinary specialists for patient management.
• Provide appropriate patient counselling regarding treatment, recovery, lifestyle, and follow-up.
• Mentor junior doctors and medical trainees in cardiology where required.
• Participate in CME programs, workshops, and clinical case discussions.
