Consultant Gynecologist

This position brings together obstetric practice, gynecological care, operative work, and emergency responsibilities within a single hospital setup in Balrampur. The position offers responsibility across OPD, IPD, labour room, OT, and emergency services, making it suitable for an experienced specialist seeking an active obstetric and gynecological practice with dedicated hospital support.

New Hospital Infrastructure

The 120-bed hospital has dedicated critical care capacity comprising an 11-bed ICU, 10-bed NICU, and 10-bed PICU. For the Gynecology department, this creates access to in-house critical care support across maternal and neonatal requirements. The clinical role extends through the labour room and OT as well as routine OPD and IPD work, with accommodation available for the consultant.

Scope of Practice

• Handle routine and high-priority obstetric and gynecological presentations.
• Review antenatal and postnatal patients and provide appropriate ongoing management.
• Manage labour room cases and undertake normal as well as cesarean deliveries when indicated.
• Perform required gynecological procedures and operative interventions within the hospital setup.
• Work in coordination with anesthesia, pediatrics, nursing, and other clinical teams during patient management.
