Consultant Gynecologist

A Consultant Gynecologist is being sought for a growing Obstetrics & Gynecology service in Kasganj, Uttar Pradesh. The role involves taking responsibility for consultations, evaluation and management of gynecological conditions, antenatal and postnatal care, and obstetric cases requiring specialist attention. The position would suit a female gynecologist who can contribute independently to patient management while working as part of a multi-specialty clinical team.

New Healthcare Facility

The hospital is a 50-bed healthcare facility with a multi-specialty clinical structure covering Obstetrics & Gynecology, Emergency Medicine, ICU & Critical Care, General Medicine, and General Surgery. The developing Gynecology service will operate alongside these departments, allowing the consultant to manage women’s health cases within a broader hospital environment.

Clinical Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed consultations and clinical assessments for patients presenting with gynecological and obstetric concerns
• Evaluate patients during different stages of pregnancy and provide appropriate antenatal and postnatal management
• Assess reproductive health concerns and determine suitable investigations or treatment based on clinical findings
• Monitor patients requiring continued gynecological or obstetric follow-up and modify management when clinically indicated
• Identify cases requiring additional specialist input and coordinate appropriately with other departments within the hospital
• Maintain clear clinical documentation covering assessment, treatment decisions, follow-up and relevant patient findings

Position Overview

• The position offers responsibility across both obstetric and gynecological patient care rather than limiting the consultant’s role to routine consultations.
• The consultant will contribute to the development of the Gynecology service as patient volumes and departmental requirements evolve.
• Clinical decisions will involve assessment of individual patient needs, interpretation of available investigations, treatment planning and appropriate follow-up.
• The multi-specialty structure provides access to other clinical departments when cases require additional evaluation, consultation or coordinated management.
