Clinical Responsibilities

• Conduct specialist evaluation of patients presenting with renal and related systemic disorders.
• Formulate appropriate management plans for patients with acute or chronic kidney-related conditions.
• Assess patients requiring renal replacement therapy and provide appropriate clinical supervision of their dialysis care.
• Identify and address clinically significant electrolyte and fluid-balance abnormalities associated with renal disease.
• Provide nephrology input during the assessment and continuing management of patients undergoing kidney transplantation.
• Reassess patients at follow-up and modify the clinical approach according to their response and changing requirements.
