Pediatrician / Consultant Pediatrician / Pediatric Surgeon

A running pediatric department in Kotkapura, Punjab is inviting applications for multiple pediatric healthcare positions. The hospital is currently looking for Pediatrician (NNF Fellowship), Consultant Pediatrician, and Pediatric Surgeon to join its professional healthcare team.

Established Pediatric Services

The hospital has an established pediatric department providing ongoing care for children across its clinical services. The selected candidates will become part of a running multi-specialty healthcare setup with access to supporting clinical, nursing, and technical teams.

Pediatrician Responsibilities

• Examine and treat infants, children, and adolescents
• Diagnose and manage common and acute pediatric conditions
• Provide preventive healthcare and immunization guidance
• Monitor growth and developmental milestones
• Provide parental counseling regarding nutrition, wellness, and child health
• Manage pediatric patients in outpatient and inpatient settings
• Coordinate with other departments for referrals and specialized care
• Support neonatal and NICU care where required for the consultant position

Pediatric Surgeon Responsibilities

• Evaluate pediatric patients requiring surgical assessment
• Diagnose and manage pediatric surgical conditions
• Perform appropriate pediatric surgical procedures
• Provide pre-operative and post-operative patient care
• Coordinate with pediatricians, anesthetists, and other specialists
• Provide emergency surgical support when required

Candidate Requirements

• Relevant postgraduate qualification in Pediatrics or Pediatric Surgery, as applicable to the position
• Qualified Pediatric Surgeons may apply for the pediatric surgical position
• Freshers may be considered for the fellowship opportunity
• Consultants should be capable of independently managing pediatric patients and neonatal/NICU responsibilities where required
• Good communication and patient-care skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multi-specialty hospital environment
