Consultant Gynecologist

A Consultant Gynecologist is required for a multi-specialty hospital in Burhanpur, Madhya Pradesh, with an established Gynecology department and ongoing patient services. The role includes outpatient consultations, obstetric and gynecological management, procedures and surgeries, and participation in emergency care. The consultant will work within a multidisciplinary hospital environment and contribute to the hospital’s day-to-day women’s healthcare services.

Women’s Healthcare Services

The hospital operates a 50-bed multi-specialty setup with Gynecology supported by Orthopedics, Pediatrics, General Medicine, and Critical Care services. Its existing women’s healthcare department handles routine consultations, surgical work, and emergency requirements, giving the incoming consultant an established clinical setting to work within. The hospital is also empanelled with major TPAs, helping serve patients through multiple healthcare access channels.

Consultant Responsibilities

• Assess and manage patients presenting with obstetric and gynecological conditions
• Provide outpatient consultations and clinical examinations
• Undertake deliveries, procedures, and gynecological surgeries as appropriate
• Plan treatment and monitor patients through follow-up
• Attend to gynecological emergencies and coordinate timely care
• Work with other departments when multidisciplinary management is required
