Consultant Endocrinologist

The Department of Endocrinology is seeking a full-time Consultant Endocrinologist to support its specialty services in Durgapur, West Bengal. The role involves managing endocrine and metabolic disorders while contributing to the development of a dedicated full-time endocrinology practice within the hospital.

Specialty Practice

The hospital is looking to transition its endocrinology services from a part-time to a full-time consultant model. The selected specialist will manage outpatient endocrine care, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and help strengthen specialty services within a 186-bedded NABH-accredited multi-specialty hospital serving a diverse patient population.

Clinical Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat diabetes, thyroid disorders, osteoporosis, and other endocrine conditions.
• Interpret hormonal investigations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Monitor patients with chronic endocrine and metabolic disorders.
• Provide lifestyle, dietary, and medication counselling for long-term disease management.
